Lavaclan Training Hollow

The fire lit in Fallendawn's eyes again when she saw Birchpaw tackle his mentor. In a metaphor, the fire was on a wick that would never burn out. or whatever. "You want more?! THIS IS WAR!" she cried as she lunged at Birchpaw.

OOC-Rhapsodysong growled and brutal began stabbing Birchpaw.....

IC-Jynxpaw jumped and bowled into Fallendawn, to prevent Birchpaw being hurt by bodies like she had.

Plumpaw knew that fighting was pointless....so she kinda walked away from the battle

ooc: AHHHHH!!! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

See? Jynxpaw? That was chivalry.

ic: Fallendawn crashed to the ground. She growled at Jynxpaw and pushed her away. She spotted Plumpaw, ready to attack, when she noticed her apprentice was running away. Her tail drooped. "I forfiet," sh meowed.

Hmm....possible plot idea?

Nooooo Ocean! The apprentices are 'surprising' their mentors so they can get REVENGE!!!

Birchpaw quickly mewed a thanks to Jynxpaw before he launched himself away from his mentor, and managed to race over to the place that the apprentices were supposed to go, and yowled in triumph. He then sauntered over to his mentor and said smugly "Isn't surprise a warrior's greatest weapon?"

ooc: Lol, missed out again.
ic: "Hooray." Spiderpaw mewed flatly. He didn't really do anything.

"The game was over, Birchpaw. Therefore, your 'suprise attack against the mentors win!' actually does not even count." mewed Dragonblaze to his smug apprentice.

Jynxpaw giggled a little at Dragonblaze's words as she walked over to Birchpaw.

Plumpaw went over to Birchpaw and Jynxpaw and declared "But we still won, anyway!" she then laughed and said "Ha! I didn't even do anything and we still won!"

"Maybe if you do that more often, we would win more..." mumbled Jynxpaw.

Plumpaw shot her sister a evil look.

Rhapsodysong sighed. Could they play a new game so they can pound the little, annoying apprentices again?

Birchpaw looked at his mentor curiously. "You just cant admit defeat by apprentices!" he laughed, then yawned hugely.

Fallendawn walked over and yawned. She narrowed her eyes at Birchpaw, annoyed at his ego. "Wow. You managed to defeat a couple of surprised warriors and jump to a safe spot. But in real battles, remember that there is no safe spot that makes you win. It's all down to the fighting."

Iceheart sighed. This was one of the reasons why sometimes battle training is a bore. "That's that. What should we do next?" Iceheart mewed somewhat loudly and firmly.

Birchpaw shrugged. We still won, he thought, then failed to clamp his jaws around another massive yawn. "I dont know about you guys, but i'm really tired, and we dont want foxes getting our prey," he stifled another yawn.

Fallenstar nodded. "How about we go back to camp, maybe hunt a little on the way?" she asked. She stared at the roof of the training hollow. "We might have stayed here too long."

Haha we're all like okay, its almost nighttime now lol

Birchpaw shot Fallendawn (star?!) a grateful look and nodded his gray-shaded head in agreement.

"Good idea." Iceheart mewed.

Fallendawn (sorry, got confused ) mewed, "it's decided then. Come on everybody, Plumpaw, we're going back to camp."

Birchpaw walked up to Dragonblaze and asked "Are we going back to camp? Or doing some more training?" eagerly.

OOC-Um...so what happens first for Birchpaw's love plan? What happens first again? lol I forgets

IC-"Um...Birchpaw, it is night now. We should head back to camp. But if everyone agrees," said Dragonblaze as he looked at the other mentors "we could do more battle training tommorrow, if they want to."

"Um..." said Rhapsodysong. Not more silly battle training!

Jynxpaw walked close to Birchpaw. VERY close.

Plumpaw giggled. "Giggle giggle."

Fallendawn turned to walk back to camp. She sniffed at the air. "Smells like rain," she mewed.

"I know." giggled Dragonblaze.

"Great..." mewed Rhapsodysong. She also hated the rain as much as she hated being a mentor!

"Oh! I love the rain!" purred Jynxpaw. "It helps me sleep and makes me calm!"

OOC-That is actaully true for me

ooc: Me too. I actually love thunderstorms!

ic: Fallendawn purred. "yeah, but anyway, we should pick up the pace. Don't want to get caught in a real downpour, especially at night." She sped up a little.

Birchpaw shivered as he raced out of the training hollow. He absolutely hated the rain. (lol just some differences : )

Dragonblaze, Rhapsodysong, Jynxpaw, and Plumpaw walked back to camp, all tired and sore from the battle training. The thunder boomed and it began to lightly drizzle.

Wildpaw raced to the training hollow, full of energy.

Icestar raced into the training hollow. The last time he had been here, was with his last apprentice...good times...good times...

Wildpaw practically was bouncing off the trees in excitement. "What am I gonna learn first, huh? A throwdown move? Or a defensive move? How about a tackle? A jab?" She continued to rattle off battle moves until she stopped, panting for breath. "Which oneeee?"

"How about a simple tackle? I will stand here," said Icestar as he walked over to the middle of the training hollow. "and you will run and try to push me over with all of your might and energy! Okay? Good luck!"

Wild paw calculated slowly his position. She pitched forward, slamming her boulder into the joint of his flank and spine.

Icestar was brought down onto the ground by Wildpaw's strength. "Well you are certainly strong." remarked Icestar "Do you want to do a different move or pratice this more?" he asked his strong apprentice.

Lets try another one!" Willowpaw said, a glint in her eyes.

"Ok...then" said Icestar as he walked away from Wildpaw. "Attack me." he said "But watch closely." Icestar was going to move to the side and use his hind legs to push Wildpaw away. Is she was smart enough she would learn it easily.

Bubblefrost walked in, trailed behind by his apprentice, Soulpaw. "Watch Icestar, he is a great fighter, since he is the leader and all, you know?" said Bubblefrost, somewhat loudly to Soulpaw.
"Yeah!" said Soulpaw as he vigorously nodded his head.
"Maybe we can join in with them when they are done." said Bubblefrost as he watched Wildpaw.
"Yeah!" said Soulpaw as he vigorously nodded his head. Again.

Wildpaw flashed a quick smile to her brother and noticed Icestar's shift to the left. She prepared herself and shot forward, but rose back on her hind legs to avoid the push to the side and barreled into Icestar.

lol sorry guys, kinda a plot development now :3

Mistypaw raced into the hollow panting, her blue-silver paws skidding in the peaty soil. "Icestar! Icestar!" she panted. "Sunclan stole some of Oceanclan's territory! We HAVE to help them!"

"Great job!" exclaimed Icestar in happy supprise. His apprentice was already great at even some of the more complicated battle moves. Mistypaw then raced in and Icestar gasped when he heard the news. He looked at Wildpaw, Bubblefrost and Soulpaw and said "Sorry, guys. Training is off for today. We need to head back to the camp so I can discuss with the other deputies about what to do." he said as he walked into the Lavaclan Forest and nodded his head to the others to follow.

Bubblefrost happily set off behind Icestar, followed by a dissapointed Soulpaw. Soulpaw had eagerly wanted to show his stuff in front of the leader, to show he was as good as his sister, but it looked like that was not going to be happening anytime soon!
Both of the cats, though, wondered what this news would bring Lavaclan. Would there be a war?

Wildpaw sighed but was happy she impressed her leader, and she followed back to camp, her mind racing. Finally, a chance to fight, for real! Her claws slid in and out of her paws as she tensed up, just thinking about protecting her clan.

Greypaw ran over to the other apprentices, huffing lightly. "I am so, so sorry I am late, but now that I am here I can train too!" Greypaw yelled.

The midnight black cat laughed as she came into the training hollow. "You are too late, my dear. They are all dead. You failed. You failed your family, you failed your mentor, you failed your friends, and you failed your destiny." said the cat as she smiled.
"Now," she said as she unsheathed her claws. "Now, it is time to die!" and with that Mittens rushed to Greypaw, her claws outstretched.

OOC-Hehehe...

"W-what," Greypaw stammered as she went to fighting stance waiting for the attack. "Y-your lying, they can't be dead!" she screamed.

"Too late, litte girl." said Mittens as she plunged her claws (like knives) into the apprentice's belly. "You will always be too late." she murmured.

OOC-Bye, bye Greypaw!

Greypaw yowled in pain as she tried running away but failing to. "N-No, I won't die," she coughed.

IC-"I'm not that innocent!" sang Mittens as she plunged her claws into Greypaw's belly over and over again.

OOC: I don't know ene" somebody did that and I know Vocaloid I was too lazy.

"n-no," she coughed before fainting from the blood lose.

"Hey. Girl. You okay?" said Mittens as she pushed the fainted Greypaw awake. Mittens had been minding her own business when all of a sudden this apprentice faints before her eyes and starts screaming. Not very lady-like, if you asked her. Mittens sighed. She wasn't even suppose to be seen...yet.

"Hmmm?" greypaw moaned in agony as she opened her eyes.

OOC-Glad to see your okay

IC-"Oh thank Spiritclan, I'm glad you are okay. You fainted and then started screaming. Are you okay? Your clanmates all left. Right now, they are all in the camp...so...yeah...I should go now..." said Mittens ackwardly as she dissapeared into the forest, once again.

Greypaw stared as she watched her walk away. She looked at her stomach to see nothing but an old faded scar. "Was it all a dream?" she sighed.

OOC-PSSS! Go to the camp

Hazepaw reached the training hollow beside her mentor, but unnoticed. "Umm.. Fallendawn..?"

Fallendawn glanced down. "Oh, sorry Hazepaw. So, you want me to teach you paw-to-paw fighting? Was that it?"

Hazepaw shuffled her feet in anticipation. "The moonclan leader, my aunt Fallenstar has found a way of fighting for smaller cats with lesser strength, to attack pressure points." She began calculative. "We've gone over basic and many similar techniques, but do you know any fighting like that..? I'm not very strong." She added with a half smile.

Fallendawn mewed, "Ah...sure! Oh! I know the perfect move, actually! It involves more agility and speed than strength. Here, I'll demonstrate with this bush. You flick out a paw like this-" she swiped heavily with her left leg- "but before you put that leg down, use the momentum to go to the other side, like a feint." She darted to the right of the leafy bush. "and then push off with your hind legs to the flank, or the head, or the back. Personally the head is the best, because it bows them over, but make sure you do this extremely quickly so the cat is still trying to block the attack from before, and his weight lunging forward will ask as further momentum so all you need to do is give the push. Okay? Now you try it on me." She loved sparring, and the bossiness was starting to creep back into her voice.

Hazepaw was at first a bit confused by the instructions but she tried a move her sister made up, hoping it was similar. She faced Fallendawn and swiped at her face with her left paw, using the momentum to propel her to the right, and as soon as her her front paws landed from the swipe, she quickly turned on them so she was facing away from Fallendawn. Before her hind legs even landed, she kicked out, missing on purpose, right beside Fallendawn's head.
"Like that..?" She asked, after her hind legs landed and she had turned to face her mentor once more.

Fallendawn blinked. "Uh...not really. Only the first parts. But that might work too, I guess....although the hind leg thing could be inaccurate, as you could easily kick too high or not have enough room. If you don't have enough room, then the kick wouldn't be effective at all, and give plenty of time for the opponent to counter. Umm...." The mentor thought hard. Maybe the move she had demonstrated was too difficult for Hazepaw. So, she thought of an alternate. "Or you could just feint on one side and then quickly attack on the other. Here, I'll attack, and you defend naturally. Okay?"

Hazepaw thought for a moment. "Actually, it would be pretty hard to miss, because the opponent is already barreling forward into my legs.." Hazepaw stated. "And lack of room would turn it into a shove, not a kick, but it would still get the enemy
off balance."

Fallendawn mulled it over, but shook her head. "Yes, but if you asked for moves not based on strength, then the opponent is much likely much stronger than you. The claws in his flank might affect, but you'll unbalance yourself in the process of the shove and also have your back to the enemy, which you should avoid." Fallendawn narrowed her eyes. Had she ever talked back to her mentor when she was an apprentice?

Hazepaw's a bit arrogant, and its also way past time for her to be a warrior.

"Oh but remember, the point is to shove to the side so they are knocked off balance, not to shove them off of you. Cuz then you are redirecting their force, not opposing it." Hazepaw replied, cocking her head to the side, her jade grey-green eyes foggy and hidden.

ooc: didn't she like just become an apprentice?

Fallendawn's kind of bossy.

ic: Fallendawn lashed at the dirt. "Oh, and you're so battle experienced?" She tried to explain the rest in a patient manner, but felt a little annoyed. "Because of the lack of room, you would still be off-balance and showing your back by the way you told me you would shove. And even if you did redirect their force, which I agree with, you would have to kick hard enough so the opponent would be stunned for a long time. You need time to turn around and attack from the front using your temporary advantage."

Yeah but the thing is, she should have been a long time ago, so their warrior ceremony is long overdue and its happening after this training session. and i created fallendawn, she's supposed to be soft-spoken but its all good, you can change her.


ic: Hazepaw begain to get a little anxious. "Look, Fallendawn, I can't explain it, but this will work. It's worked on Wildpaw a million times, and she's bigger and stronger than me. I"ll show you." Hazepaw backed up, ready to show her move.

Fallendawn, is a light golden cat with a creamy white belly and chest. She has jet black points and white rings around her tail. Fallendawn is pretty much bipolar, she is outgoing with her friends and very quiet with strangers. She hates to argue, but loves to spar, and hates heights but is a great climber. She loves to swim, and her light golden coat gives her away in the forest when she's hunting, so he hates to hunt. Fallendawn's parents died of Greencough two winters ago, but her best friends are Dewpaw and Clearpaw, and her enemy is Ivorypaw. Flamepaw, supposedly, has a crush on her. Fallendawn has a hard time trusting cats, and is often daydreaming. She is pretty bossy, and gets her friends in trouble with her excursions, but always makes sure she is the one to take the hardest punishment.

IC-Jyxnwish, Plumpetal, Dragonblaze, Burnttree, Darkpaw, Tearpaw, Soulpaw, Icestar, Citrusfur, and Bubblefrost all entered the Training Hollow.

Wildpaw followerd her brother into the training hollow, observing her sister. "Soulpaw!" She hissed quietly. "Look at her move! This is the wierd one I was talking to you about, the one where the turns at the end. Watch!" She says, eyes intent on her sister.
