Oh. I always spelled Phoenix like Pheonix. I couldn't honestly see the difference.

Maybe it is one of those worlds that is spelled differently....let me check...actually it is phoenix.
And according to this, at the Summer Palace, Bejing, China they have a statue of a phoenix...but you call them...Fenghuang?

Yep. Feng huang. Fènghuáng 凤凰
But I still like calling them phoenixs. Though I don't particularly like them because of my school.
