I know, this is weird and sudden, for me to suddenly ask, but what is SOPA? And what do they plan to do?

Yep! The first contest is to make symbols for the clans, like the ones they have in the books. You can make one, or you can make all of them! The winners symbols will be used by all of Awesomeclan for the respective clans!
The clans you will be making symbols for will be:
Oceanclan
Sunclan
Lavaclan
Moonclan
Twilightclan
Dawnclan
Rainclan
Snowclan

The second contest is to make a map of the islands. You can either make a map of one of the clan territories, of an island, or of all the islands. You can do all of them if you like. BUT they have to be accurate, based on the information from the subtopics accurate. The winning maps will be used by all of Awesomeclan!

Don't start the contests just yet until the polls are all done. All other entries, can be admired in the Art section, which is where you will be posting them and where the contest will be held.

P.S. What cat faces? Can you describe it to me?

Oh, the first kind of background and buttons we had after we switched out of the dark, outerspacy one.

I have the water and sky one, but I will need to go back and get the cat faces one.
I might not be able to get it though....

Anyway, I like this background better than anyone other ones because it is not a picture then a line which is the end and then another picture, if you know what I mean.
The cat paws are so much.....neater? Organized? Natural? IDK!

Yeah, I can not wait for the contests as well! I think I, Raven, and Ice will be the judges-but it may be just Ice and I.
I will not be entering into the contest, since I have no art skills whatsoever and no nothing about digital art.

A mage/elementalis could work, but I know that there are more spefific words and terms for them.

Umm..........................well....I want to make a story about magic, but in the future and I need to know all the different types of magic users. I could explain in more detail....but I will do that later.

And going way back, about digital art, Eagle, what program do you use?

Now I will explain.....
I want to write a story about magic. I wrote it first in a contest called Nanowrimo. It was much different than what is now. I decided to go back and change it and the idea of the story. So I did, but I was still not happy with it so a few months later I went back to the idea and changed it again and I have finally found an idea I like. The first idea was too huge. The second was too sparse. But the third was just right lol

The idea is that it takes in the future, where many things have changed. Scientists were just about to discover other dimensions of the universe, but then wizards appeared and stopped them. They revealed that they could travel between the dimensions and the wizards of all the Earths protect Earth. If they went into the other dimensions, it could cause horrible problems. After that the people were angry. The wizards were preventing them from their dreams, and if they existed this entire why didn't they end all the horrible things in Earth? So the humans and the wizards went to war. Not all of the humans were involved, but 85% of them were.
Can you guess who won?
The wizards. After the war, the wizards took control of the world in order to make sure nothing bad like that ever happened or the humans did not disobey their order of not going into the other dimensions. After that, the world was united under a Council of Archmages. The world was then divided into different regions where people did different things to help the overall world.

Also, no one knows what magic is. They don't know if the Creator bestoys it upon people or if it is a force of the universe that some people can control. Some people can't do magic, other can do a little bit of magic, while others can do magic normally. If a child has magic parents, they are separated from them and placed into orphanages almost. If they have one magic parent then they are raised by the normal parent. They do this because the wizards are divided into different groups and they think that the magic parents will influence their kids too much into joining their group.
At the age of 10, they find out what group their magic parents are in and what their names are. At the age of 13, they take the magic challenge which is to determine if they can do magic and what group they will be placed in. The different groups live spread about the different regions and the life of a wizard is complex and very difficult. At the age of 16, there is a challenge between all wizards of that age that is very dangerous, and it is not uncommon for people to die. At the age of 18, they finally can meet their parents. And at the age of 21-22 they graduate and become a full member of their group.

Confusing? Just think Hunger Games+Pendragon+Harry Potter=My Idea!

Is Nanowrimo that november writing month or something? Where you have to just write a lot of words, like 10,000 in a month? I think, if that's what your'e talking about. I was going to do it but I forgot.

But your story sounds really interesting! I'm writing too, but I'm more spread out. I have like ten different ideas, but one or two I'm really working on.

And Jay, I don't really know about digital art, I was think about drawing a sketch on Paint, the basic drawing program.

Yeah. Nanowrimo is where you have to write 50,000 words in one month(november) I did it last year, but this year I decided not to do it and work on my studies instead It was really fun, but really hard. I would recommend it

What are your stories about? When I grow up I want to be a writer, but I like to plan everything out, so I get everything in the plot done first before going into the writing.

Spanish? My cousins know it, and occasionally they go off and have a long conversation in Spanish, which just drives me nuts. But of course, I have my own conversations in Chinese that could drive them nuts.... But they're learning Chinese, so....

I will probably take Chinese in HS, what ever one I go to.

It drives me nuts when my friends have long conversations in Korean and I have no idea what they're saying, but can't annoy them back with long conversations in Chinese because no one else in my grade speaks it. yep.

Runa annoys me by having conversations in Japanese with her friend. But occasionally I understand. Occasionally. I'm pretty used to Korean, since we have many Korean people in our school.
