Forestclan Rp

Forestclan Territory: An island that has cliffs to the north, thick forests in the middle, west and south, and a herbal meadow to the east. The cliffs are homes to bears, lynxes, foxes and other dangerous animals. The herbal meadow is filled with flowers and herbs and is a great spot to find herbs. The thick forest it cool and mossy. Forestclan has the island all to themselves and live on a island close to the main island where all the other clans are but do not associate with them that often.

Forestclan Camp:

Forestclan Wildlife: Bears, lynxes, foxes and others make their homes in the cliffs to the north. They also have tropical birds and eagles and are the one of the closest clans to the twolegs, being that they live only a few islands away. They usually eat mice, squirrels, rabbits, shrews, and voles. They alos have badgers. They are the ones that have to deal with the most angry and aggressive types of wildlife, due to the bears, foxes, lynxes and foxes that make their home in their territory. But they also have the most food as well. The eagles are not a danger to them at all, but unlike the other clans, they get owls that snatch up kits during the night. The bears that live on Forestclans island are not friendly.

Forestclan Traits:

Forestclan History: Forestclan was founded by its leader, Forestcreek. She along with six other cats were the last descendants of the ancient warrior clan, Snowclan and wanted to share their traditions before they died out. They all made separate clans to which they were the leaders of. They found cats willing to join and marked their territories. Forestcreek was sister to Sunflame and Twilightclaw. Sunflame was the eldest because she had been born in a litter where her siblings had left and abandoned the traditions or died. Forestcreek and Twilightclaw were born much later and were not that close to Sunflame. They weren't a really close family. Forestclan had their territory on the main island like most of the clans. It territory had the southern part of Oceanclan, the Moonrock and gathering areas and some Moonclan territory which made it very huge. The clans were worried that Forestclan would begin driving them out so Oceanclan, Lavaclan joined forces along with Moonclan and chased them out. After they were chased out, their territory was dived amongst them. Forestclan was hurt and fled to the nearest island, their island today. They were able to make a home their, but becuase of what the clans had done Forestclan never associated with them ever again.

ooc: Why iss there nothing for camp or traits?

Stormwind woke up. Stormwind walked out of the warrior's den to get some freshkill.

Dustfang also woke up but decided to go back to sleep because his joints were aching again.

Tallear slept. He rolled over in his sleep and dreamed he was on a bed of brambles. Some apprentices had forgotten to change the bedding.

Smallpetal had asked to go on a patrol and was waiting for an answer.

Aurapaw and Pansypaw woke up. Aurapaw walked over to her sis's nest and prodded her. "Wake up lazy bones!" She hissed in her ear.

Stormwind went to the fresh kill pile, but decided to go hunting instead. he felt like new freshkill. "Hey Smallpetal, do you want to go hunting with me?' he asked his sister.

Smallpetal replied yes and they walked into the forest for some food.

Dustfang and Tallear slept.

Frostclaw and Willowsong waited in Tigerstar's den.

Copperwing, Coldwind, and Gingerpaw sat in the medicine cats' den.

Flameheart sighed and fell asleep in her nest.

Stormwind pounced. THe rabbit ran away, but straight into the paws of Smallpetal. "Good job!" Stormwind congratulated, "I haven't seen a rabbit in a while. Let's take it back to camp. I'm sure the medicine cats will enjoy it."

As they traveled to ForestClan camp, Smallpetal frowned. "I wonder how that little Wolfekit is doing. Oh, he's probably fine." she shrugged and ran to catch up with Stormwind.

Dustfang got up and went for a walk in the forest. He needed some exercise.

Tallear woke to an empty den and a bunch of brambles. "there actually were brambles in my nest!" he exclaimed.

Leafpaw woke up with a start. "Huh? What?" Aurapaw sighed. "Dope." She told her sister. Then she walked out of the den.
Pansypaw woke up. "Morning Copperwing!" He called out.

Stormwind and Smallpetal walked into camp with a fat rabbit and a finch. "Who's hungry?" Smallpetal sang.

Dustfang wandered through the forest aimlessly. He thought about Wolfekit and, more worriedly, how Tallear was so tired and achy but quiet these days.

Tallear slipped out of camp. He laid in the roots of a tree and took a nap. He dreamed that his sister (who passed away a while ago) Marigoldsong came and took him to SpiritClan.

^ should he die now or when the storm comes?

"Hey, Pansypaw." Copperwing meowed. "What do you want to do today?"

ooc: Erm. I do believe I played Dawnsky. And, I think only users with excellent RP skills should get Tigerstar and Willowsong. They are both important members of an important clan.
ic: "Whatever!" Pansypaw mewed enthusiastically. Leafpaw sighed and got up. She stretched her sore muscles. "How dare she call me dope!" She muttered. "I'm so going to kill her!" And with that, she ran outside and pounced on her sister. "Take back what you said!" She hissed in her ear playfully.
"Never!" Aurapaw yowled, a bit louder than she meant to. "Oops." She kicked at her sister. "Oof!" Leafpaw hissed. She pounced on Aurapaw again and pinned her on the ground. "I win!"

Suddenly a cat barred Tallear's way to spiritClan. It was his close firend from a while ago. "It's not your time yet." he rumbled and flung Tallear back to he world. He woke up with cold sweats.

Dustfang found him and was scared to lose his denmate. He escorted Tallear back to camp, relizing how old Tallear was.

Stormwind put the prey down.

Smallpetal went to hunt more.

OOC-I will have Jadepaw and Sablefire. In the upcoming storm Willowsong and Tigerstar can die along with Rosenight and Rowanshade.

ic: Leafpaw looked at the camp entrance and suddenly froze. "I forgot!" She wailed. She ran outside of camp. "What?" Aurapaw muttered, staring after her sister. "Oh. I forgot too. Wait!" She ran outside of camp, nearly crashing into Dawnsky. "Sorry." She apologized. Then she raced away. "What's up with the sisters today...?" Dawnsky wondered. She walked into the warrior's den and lay down on her nest. Then she fell asleep.
Meanwhile Leafpaw was busy collecting moss. "I hope I get back before he notices." She murmured.She grabbed her ball of moss, and ran back to camp, nearly colliding with a mysterious, fast moving, thing. The thing raced past her super fast. "What?" Leafpaw muttered, almost dropping her ball of moss. She hurried back to camp and dropped of the ball of moss in the elders den. "There. Comfy moss for Tallear." She walked outside and looked for her sister. "Aurapaw?" She called out. She wasn't there. Leafpaw sighed and tasted the air. "She went outside... Oh no! What if she was attacked by the thing?" Leafpaw raced outside. She tasted the air again. "The thing is headed in the same direction as her! What if the thing is following her? But I can only smell Aurapaw's scent... The thing is a very good tracker..."
Dawnsky was woke up by a noisy noise. She huffed and stalked outside to see who woke her. It was Leafpaw. She saw the tip of her tail disappear in the elder's den. She got out a second later and called out "Aurapaw". Then she ran to the entrance of the camp. Dawnsky walked over calmly. "What's wrong?" She asked. Leafpaw started to explain very fast. "Aurapaw disappeared and is being attacked by a thing, I think!" Then she raced off in the direction of the thing. Dawnsky just stared at her.
Aurapaw arrived at the place where Leafpaw gathered moss. Aurapaw began to tear moss with her claws, then rolling them up in a ball. She began to run back to camp, but she slipped and fell into a nearby stream. She coughed and climbed out, while hissing insults at the stream. Thankfully, the moss didn't fall in the stream with her. Aurapaw picked up the moss and raced back to camp on another more sunny path. She arrived at camp, ran into the elders den, and dumped her moss beside Leafpaw's. She walked back outside and called out, "Leafpaw?" There was no answer. She scanned the crowd of cats and saw Dawnsky, who had a scent of Leafpaw on her. "Where's Leafpaw?" She asked her. Dawnsky stared at the wet Aurapaw. "Well, she said something about you, being attacked by a thing she saw, and raced away." "Now it's more likely to have attacked her!" Aurapaw snapped. She raced off in the direction of Leafpaw. Dawnsky suddenly purred with amusement.
Leafpaw arrived at the end of Aurapaw's scent trail. "The scent ends here... She seemed to have doubled back for a few tail lengths, then disappeared! It's the thing!" She mewed with alarm. Leafpaw didn't know Aurapaw fell in a stream. I need to get help! She thought. She was halfway to camp when she crashed in to something. "The thing!" She gasped. She unsheathed her claws.
Meanwhile, Aurapaw was halfway to Leafpaw's moss gathering place when she crashed into something. "It's the thing!" She also unsheathed her claws.
Leafpaw was preparing to attack when she smelled a familiar scent. "Aurapaw?" She mewed.
Aurapaw tensed. The thing knew her name! Then she relaxed when she smelt Leafpaw's scent. "Leafpaw!" She meowed. "What happened? What's all the fuss about the thing?" She asked. Leafpaw explained that she crashed into a thing when she was returning to camp. Then Aurapaw disappeared and went in the same direction as the thing. When Leafpaw arrived at her moss gathering place, the place where Aurapaw's scent lead to, her scent disappeared. Leafpaw said she thought Aurapaw was killed by the thing. "Silly!" Aurapaw purred. The thing was probably me, mouse-brain!" "Yeah, I just about figured it out." Leafpaw grumbled. Then she brightened. "But you were mouse-brained enough to believe that there was a thing!"
"Whatever. It would be funny if Pansypaw slept through all this."
"True! I bet the tastiest piece of vole and mouse that Pansypaw did."
"You're on!"
The two sisters turned and raced back to camp where they found Dawnsky at the entrance, waiting for them. "Well? Did you find that mysterious thing?" She asked. Aurapaw noticed that her eyes were laughing. "You knew!" She accused. "Let's just say I guessed. What really happened?" The sisters filled Dawnsky in while walking to the medicine cat's den. She purred with amusement. Then she got serious again. "You're still wet, though." Leafpaw smiled. "The purrfect excuse for seeing Pansypaw!" The three cats walked into the medicine cat's den.
Pansypaw was having a dream about pansies floating around in the sky... When suddenly something prodded him in his ribs. "Huuuwwatzz?" He muttered, waking about. "Aurapaw! You're all wet!" He said with alarm. "Yes. She and I was attacked by a mysterious thing." Leafpaw murmured. "A mysterious thing?" Pansypaw echoed. Dawnsky nodded. Then all three of them stared purring with amusement. "Told you!" Leafpaw said in a sing songy voice to her sister. Aurapaw ignored her. Dawnsky started explaining patiently to the bewildered medicine cat apprentice. "The story of the thing all started this morning, when Leafpaw and Aurapaw remembered something very important..."

Anywho....STORM TIME! Yeah Yeah!

IC-Paintedrose raced through the forest trying desperatley to get back to the camp. Paintedrose had been out by the cliffs looking at the monster that was bearing down on Forestclan. She had not bothered to warn the clan-that giant storm would take a long time to reach them but when it did, all of the Black Forest would break loose. Now she was begginning to regret that decision. The storm had moved faster then she had ever imagined. It now covered all of the island. It was just a matter when it break loose. She had to hurry. She urged her legs and paws to move faster. She was tired from running all the way from the cliffs to the camp. Now she was close. So close. Suddenly she came to a halting stop. Was it true? Was it begginning? She crossed her eyes and her supscions were confirmed. There was a single drop of water on her nose. That single drop of water was a previe of what was to come to Forestclan. She tried running again. But she didn't get far before she collapsed. She couldn't give up especially when she was so close to the camp! But she couldn't move her legs anymore. And the rain was starting. She was too late.

Flashfire and Secretwish sat in the camp, outside of the nursery sharing tongues when they felt the drops of water fall down on them from the sky. It meant one thing-rain. They looked up and gasped. The morning sky was black with billowing, black and gray storm clouds. It was a monster storm. The rain began coming down harder now. It went from a drizzle to a downpour in a few seconds. Flashfire yowled in suprised as Secretwish and himself sought refuge in the nursery. It was a bad storm. But it was about to get worse.

Ebonypaw and Jadepaw were flirting in the apprentice den when they heard thunder. Lots of it. The sky flashed with lighting and boomed with thunder as the rain continued to pour down. Soon there were puddles all over the camp. They didn't see the storm in the den so they went back to talking to each other.

Twisterclaw couldn't believe it! This was a monster storm! No way would they be able to survive this if it emptied all of its rain onto the clan. He was out hunting-but not anymore. No wonder he had not been able to catch any prey, they were all hiding from the storm. He needed to get back to camp and fast. He begam running back to the camp as fast as he could.

Sablefire was eating prey in the warriors den when it happened. The rain got even worse. The wind picked up. The sky was constanly alight with lighting and booming with thunder that shook the ground. It was no question. The storm was directly over them and it was going to be bad.

Wolfekit slept silently in the nursery. Unaware of the great storm.

OOC-Guys the storm is going to force the camp to evacute the camp. It was cause trees to fall down and hail and wind gusts that can push cats over. The cats that will die in the storm are: Tigerstar, Willowsong, Rowanshade, and Rosenight. So yeah remember that. Beside that you can do whatever.

ooc: I am killing off Tallear, too.

ic: Luckily, Dustfang and the frail Tallear made it back to camp a bit after the storm started. Tallear dozed off instantly with Dustfang hovering ovr him, afraid he would die.

Smallpetal jumped about five tail-lengths in the air in panic as the thunder boomed, but relaxed when she remembered Stormwind had gotten over his little problem. She ran in the rapidly sodden forest to camp.

Stormwind smiled at the storm, only because he wasn't mortally scared of them anymore. Otherwise, he was worried about the monsoon to come. He confidently strode to shelter while being pelting with rain and wind. The sky was dark.

Copperwing peered out of the den. "Oh no..." She meowed as water started to pool in the camp. She ran out into the down pour with Coldwind and Gingerpaw following. "Everyone!" She yelled around the camp. "Evacuate the camp!!! Get to higher ground!" The wind started to blow hard and she saw that Frostclaw was standing by the entrance herding cats out one by one. Flameheart, Nightfang, Blackfeather, Lionpaw, Spiderweb, Bearclaw... They all walked out of the camp and ran towards a group of trees on a high hill near the camp. Copperwing turned back to Coldwind and Gingerpaw. "Gingerpaw! Go with the others!" She nodded and pelted after the group of cats that were leaving. "Coldwind! Go and make sure Pansypaw and any other cats in all the dens are heading toward that hill out of the camp!" He shot away toward the dens. Copperwing watched them go, then peered in Tigerstar's den. "Tigerstar?" She meowed. There was no anwser. She looked closer. The Forestclan leader was gone...

Coldwind ran back to the den and looked inside. "Everybody out!" He meowed.

The group of cats that had walked out of the camp sat on the hill close together as the winds started to blow harder.

(I have a plan... ... MWHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!)

Smallpetal breathlessly raced up to the group of cats. SHe put down the prey. "Where were you?" demanded Stormwind. He had been afraid Smallpetal got lost or injured, but didn't show it. "Sorry, brother," Smallpetal mewed, brushing it off. "I was hunting." She peered at the huddled cats and then spotted a very wet and weary looking Dustfang dragging a cat by the scruff up the hill. "Dustfang? Is that Tallear?..."

Dustfang gasped,"Put him somewhere dry. Although I don't think that matters anymore." He burst into tears.

What is your plan Flame?

Flashfire herded Secretwish out of the nursery and up onto the hill. He was always by her side making sure she would be okay. "Are you okay?" he said for the umpteenth time. "How many times are you going to ask me? And how many times am I going to tell you I am okay?" she asked him. "Well...." he said. "Toms." Secretwish muttered. Suddenly there was a great pain in her belly. "OOF!" she yowled as she tripped and fell down onto the wet ground. "What's wrong? This is why I kept asking!" he said. "I must be crazy, but I am pretty sure the kits are coming." she said. "NOW?" he asked her, shock covering his face. "YES! OOF! OOFA!" she yowled. "Hurry and get the medicine cat! OOFAGRA! OOFAGAGA! OOFJA! OOFAGRAGA!" she yowled. "Right. COPPERWING! SECRETWSIH IS KITTING! I'M SERIOUS!" yowled Flahfire.

Jadepaw and Ebonypaw stayed by each other as they raced up to the hill. They weren't scared or anything like that.

The thunder boomed almost all the time as it was followed by lightning that lit up the sky. Rain in fell in buckets. In the camp the puddles were getting bigger and deeper.

"Ugh. Help." said Paintedrose. She knew it was no use. She was too tired, too late and no one would come to help her. She was going to die. "Hello? Paintedrose? Is that you?" asked Twisterclaw as he came into view. "Here let me help you. Hurry we must hurry. The water is rising and soon the entire frest will be flooded! We need to hurry back to the camp." He picked up Paintedrose by the scruff and began carrying/dragging her back to the camp.

Wolfekit sat in the rain on the hill and shivered. He was cold!

Smallpetal and Stormwind left Dustfang in peace to mourn for his dead clanmate and denmate, Tallear. Smallpetal went to check on the other cats while Stormwind sided up to Wolfekit. "Hiya Wolfekit, are you cold? Let me warm you up." Without waiting for an answer, he began licking the kit, the opposite direction of the fur, to warm him. Stormwind felt really bad for Wolfekit. He didn't have a mother to take care of him and acted like he didn't want one.

ooc: I remember asking for one of the kits but I can't remember who! Noo!
ic: Aurapaw ran out of the medicine cat's den with her siblings. They raced to higher ground, but they almost collided with Wolfkit. "Wolfkit! Don't just stand there and let others warm you up! MOVE." Leafpaw snapped. She was angry.

"Hey!" Stormwind shouted to Leafpaw. He stalked over. "He's a kit. How is he supposed to warm himself in the rain and wind, run around and get himself wetter? Back off!"

ooc: Jay, Wolfekit (for some strange reason) has an e in it. Like Wolfekit.

ic: Dustfang started to bury Tallear. It was easier in the muddy soil. He didn't think anycat noticed he died, or that they would stand vigil for Tallear in this storm.

Smallpetal scrapped together a prey pile.

OOC-It is Wolfekit because in some areas they say Wolfe with an e. So I wanted to be all different and special so I did Wolfekit!

"Sorry!" snapped Wolfekit to Leafpaw. He was angry too. He was angry that he had to leave his comfy den to go up on this stupid hill. The water rose even higher.

Dustfang finished burying Tallear. No cat had noticed besides Stormwind and Smallpetal Tallear's passing.

Stormwind worried about the raising waters. "Wolfekit, go to safer ground. Here, do you want me to take you?" He knew it was a wasted question. Wolfekit would probably chose to go on ahead on his own, refusing help. But Stormwind thought it was best to give him a chance.

Smallpetal scouted ahead for some higher place that the clan could vacate. The water was lapping at the edges of the land. Problem was, she reasoned, soon they would run out of high ground.

ooc: OK, got it.
Runa has gave me the permission to play all her cats. Auroralight, correct?
ic: Leafpaw scowled and narrowed her eyes and raced away. Aurorapaw stared at her sister with a startled expression. "Wow." She raced after her sister, ignoring the fact that her clan's territory was drowning around her. Pansypaw muttered a sorry to Wolfekit and ran after her siblings, but almost drowned in a puddle that looked like a pond.
Auroralight was startled. She was having a nice dream about something, but was interrupted. She ran out of the den and looked at the camp, and realized it was empty. "Oh no." She hissed when she saw why. She started running to higher ground, but the puddles of water were getting larger, and larger.. She leaped over one, almost drowning in the process. "Hi Wolfekit." She panted when she raced past him.

ooc: The camp is empty now, right, and everycat is pretty much on the hilltop?

ic: Stormwind watched as the waterline completely cover the surface of the camp. They couldn't wait much longer.

Smallpetal climbed to the top of a tree, balancing precariously. Her mouth dropped open as she spotted the monster storm that was above.

Dustfang picked a sodden mouse up and spat it out when the mouse oozed out water. Reluctantly, he took it back and munched on it. With the flood, all the prey would be drowned anyway.

OOC-Yep and yep.

The water rose higher and higher. Trees fell down left and right. Paintedrose and Twisterclaw were lost in the storm. And the puddles were now becoming deadly. The two realized that they had ended up back at the cliff part of the territory. They then decided to wait out the storm in a cave.

Heh heh, when you say the puddles were becoming deadly it sounds like they're acid or something.

Smallpetal sat down with a gusty sigh. She had been running around for ages, it felt like, and her delicate paws were absolutely soaked to the bone. In fact, every part of her was.

Stormwind stiffened. "Move!" he screamed to Wolfekit. He pushed Wolfekit out of the way of a falling branch.

Dustfang inspected a fallened, moss covered trunk. "Eh," he decided. Then again, any shield from the rain was den worthy in this mouse-brained storm. He crawled under and slept. It had (and still would been, for a while) a very fateful day,

ooc: Ok, Ok, Ok.
ic: Leafpaw panted, suddenly scared. Why did I say that? And now I'm lost! She saw a cave leading underground. She tasted the air. "An abandoned badger set!" She ran in, glad that it was dry inside.
"Leafpaw!" Aurorapaw called. "Where are you?" She then noticed her scent trail leaded into the badger set. "What if she was eaten... Mouse brain! Hasn't the thing taught you anything?" She told herself. "She's just sheltering, I think." She ran in.
Pansypaw sighed. They always forgot him. He tasted the air. The scent trails were fading! Panicked, he dashed off to join her sister in the badger set. He stopped at the entrance. It slopes down wards, so if the rain keeps on falling, it will be flooded! He grabbed whatever he could find on the ground, and dumped it on the entrance, cringing at their taste. Then he crawled in and joined his sisters.
Auroralight stood there in the rain, gasping. The puddles were becoming bigger and bigger. She saw a nice hollow stump that was on really high ground. She scrambled in, panting.

Smallpetal curled up into a ball and fell asleep from sheer exhaustion.

Dustfang slept.

Stormwind winced as he pulled his tail out from under a branch. Luckily, it was only bruised.

My cats sleep.
Auroralight struggled to stay awake. She would be in big trouble if the stump flooded when she was asleep.

Dustfang woke up groggily and looked around for the cause of it. "Uh oh, not good at all..." he meowed, staring at the flattened grass underneath him. He stumbled out from beneath the fallen log. In the spot where he had been sleeping was a flopping fish. And it was struggling, not for long, in ominous tentacles of creeping floodwater.

Auroralight bit herself. "Ouch!" She was suddenly alert. "Wwhat was that?" She crept out of the stump. The puddles! They were really, really big now. She kept on running to higher ground.
(g2g, sorry.)

Dustfang saw Auroralight running to higher ground and was going to do the same. Unfortunately, there was no more higher ground, practically! The hill only went so high.

Smallpetal slept, unbeknownst to the floodwaters flowing past her, up to her paws.

Stormwind gave Wolfekit a stern grooming.

Aurorapaw sighed. "It's cold!" She shivered. "I'll go fetch some moss!" Pansypaw offered. "NO. You're the med. cat's apprentice! If we get sick, you have to heal us! I'll go." Leafpaw scrambled to her paws and crawled under the curtain Pansypaw made. Once she was out, she covered the hole properly again. "It's dark in here!" Pansypaw yelped. "Ouch! That was my tail!" "Sorry." Aurapaw muttered. Meanwhile Leafpaw was having a hard time finding dry clean moss. "I know!" She climbed up a tree and grabbed as many dry leafs as she could. Then she leaped down from the tree, and landed on a vole. "Oops." She grabbed to vole and ran back to her temporary home. She spat the leafs and the voles on the ground. "There!" She said. "Nice bedding and a scrawny half drowned vole!" Ignoring the astonished looks on her sibling, she began to make herself a nest of leafs. "What? At least the leafs are dry." "I guess." Pansypaw began to make himself a nest. Aurorapaw shrugged and made herself a nest too. When the siblings were all settled, they began to share the vole.
Auroralight was getting tired. Then she saw something. "A hollow in a tree! A big one, too." She climbed up the tree and settled in the hollow. "Ok, it is a bit small." She scowled. "But it will do." She fell asleep immediately.

Dustfang didn't know what to do. He walked and wondered how the would lead the clan to higher ground.

Smallpetal woke up because she was sleeping in a puddle and half breathing water. She scrambled out to look for a dryer place, but to her horror, there were none!

(come on, let's get things more interesting here)

"Wake up!" Aurorapaw said urgently. "We need to get out of here! It's flooding!" Leafpaw and Pansypaw were awake at once. "The curtain you made helped, but the water is rising too fast! We need to go!" The siblings ran out and gasped. The were standing in deep water! They could barely keep their head above the water. "Move!" Pansypaw choked out. They slowly swam to shallower waters. Now they could stand, but the water was still sucking at their bellies. "Keep on going! There is a wave behind us, and it's heading this way!" (That doesn't really make sense but whatever.) Leafpaw managed. They half swam, half walked forward. "Trees!" Pansypaw gasped. They struggled to climb up the tree. "You can do it, Leafpaw!" Pansypaw and Aurorapaw encouraged. Leafpaw hadn't climbed up the tree yet. She was still stuck at the bottom of the tree, and the wave was coming closer.... Suddenly, the wave came. Then, it was gone. "Leafpaw!" Aurorapaw yowled. "I'm here! But I wrenched a lot of claws. Ouch!" Leafpaw climbed up slowly.

Smallpetal joined Dustfang. "Come on, the clan has to move! Look!" She cried, pointing to a monster wave that, although about the same height as the hill, would ride over it and wash away the cats.

Stormwind heard the news and ran around the makeshift clan, yowling that they needed to evacuate.

Pansypaw heard the yowls. "It's safer on the trees!" He called out. "Just find some stable trees." Aurorapaw meowed. "And climb up quickly and try not to wrench your claws ouch." Leafpaw added.

Smallpetal helped Dustfang up a fir tree.

Stormwind did the same.

Auroralight sighed a relief, and went back to her usual character.

Flameheart, Frostclaw, Blackfeather, Lionpaw, Gingerpaw, Coldwind, Copperwing, Nightfang, Bearclaw, and Spiderweb all ran up trees. Their leader, Tigerstar, and the other deputy, Willowsong, were still no where to be found.

Smallpetal and Dustfang were now safely up trees. Stormwind was half up the trunk of another, when he hesitated. Before Smallpetal could do anything, he slid down the tree. "What are you doing?" Smallpetal yelled. "I'm going to help some of the other cats!" Stormwind yowled back.

Secretwish screeched. The kits were coming, the hill was beggining to flood and she needed to get into a tree now! Great. Flashfire came over and used all of his muscule to pick her up. Unfortunatley he failed and flopped to one side. "Stormwind! Help me get Secretwish into one of the trees! She is kitting!!!!" he cried to Stormwind.

Paintedrose and Twisterclaw had been unable to get back to the camp so instead they decided to stay on the cliffs. From their viewpoint they saw that the entire forest section of the island was now like a swamp with all the rivers, streams and brooks flooding. The entire forest ground was now a great brown river of water. The only safe places were the trees and the few hills that had so far survived. One of the largest hills, that was in the southern forest area was now pratically an island. The water swirled around and grew higher and higjher. It wouldn't be long before that hill fell as well. The meadow was now apart of the rising sea water. It was completly covered by the water. The western area of the island was abit higher up so there were still so hills there but the ground was still gone. the cliffs had been doing well due to their high position. But if it continued they too would fall and with them the entire island would be covered in water. Paintedrose and Twisterclaw huddled together in a small, wet and cold cave. They had tried to go to sleep, but then decided that one of them should remain awake in case the water came in. Paintedrose was failining to sleep, even though she was exhausted. She was too nervous. Twisterclaw kept an alert watch.

Sablefire worried over where Twisterclaw was. Paintedrose was missing too! And to think that this would be the day when she told him she was pregnant.....

Ebonypaw scampered up a tree followed by Jadepaw. Many cats were missing, including the leader Tigerstar, the deputy Willowsong and the warriors Paintedrose and Twisterclaw. Ebonypaw from his vantage point saw to his surprise that some of the trees that had been standing perfectly upright were now leaning. The water was too poweerful for even the mighty trees. They were sucummbing to the power of water. Would Forestclan, too, give in? They had to survive, but how could they in a storm like this. The tree Jadepaw and Ebonypaw were in, began leaning slightly. Jadpaw let out a yowl in surpise. The leaning then increased. "JUMP!" cried Ebonypaw over the howl of the wind. He hoped Jadepaw had heard his cry. If not then she was doomed to die in the vast, swirling red water below. Red. The color of blood. Ebonypaw jumped into the next tree where he was greeted by Jadepaw.

Wolfekit shivered and mewed. He hadn't been able to get up a tree and he needed help. It was true. He needed help.

An enemy far the storm and the besieged island frowned. He hoped the storm would not delay his progress to find Jaguar. He looked at the island and then wandered off, disspearing in the darkness of the storm.

Auroralight hopped down from the tree and dashed to Wolfkit. She picked him up caarefully and climbed on a tree.

OOC-Yes.

IC-"Thank you, Auroralight."said Wolfekit as he shivered.

Stormwind heard Flashfire's plea and ran over. He was glad Auroralight saved Wolfekit. Stormwind used his strength to help pick Secretwish up and place her in a safe tree.

Smallpetal and Dustfang huddled in the tree.

Secretwish then pushed and out popped four kits! Flashfire purred and licked them to warm them up. "What should we name them?" he asked. "I don't know!" cried Secretwish "I jsut had kits and it is a storm so give me some time to calm down and think!" she cried. She was angry that she wasn't in the nursery when the kits had come.

"Do you need any help with the kits?" Stormwind asked. He had to raise his voice over the noise of the storm.

Smallpetal craned her small head over to see what was happening with Secretwish, Flashfire, and Stormwind.

Dustfang slumped in the joint between the branch and the tree trunk.
